Rae Dunn Inspired Ornaments

It’s that time of year! Christmas is coming….and it’s coming quickly!

I know we all see a lot of versions of the Rae Dunn Inspired Ornaments but I had to jump on the band wagon. They’re so easy to make and so ridiculously cute!

To make these ornaments, (my version):

I bought the clear plastic craft ornaments. You can use glass, I prefer plastic. I have pets and a 1 year old grandson. Shatterproof is less stressful for me. I don’t want anything on my Christmas tree that has the potential to cause trouble! lol!

I poured white acrylic paint in each ornament and swirled it until the ornament was completely coated. Let it dry without the little cap on the ornament for about 24 hours…maybe more depending on how much paint is in the ornament.

I cut out different Christmas expressions on my Cricut. Placed the decals on my ornaments and I’m done. I plan on using red ribbon in place of metal ornament hangers for a more festive look.

If you would like to make a few and don’t have a cutting machine, hop over to my Etsy store and look at the decals I have posted. Or if you would like, I also have some finished ornaments in my store.
